I have a multi faceted dynamic approach to life.

first came music

The first skill I developed in earnest was being a pianist. At the age of 6, I learned the material so fast I studied at twice the rate of the other private students. By Middle School I studied privately at the Conservatory at Roosevelt University in Chicago.

Studying music seriously led to a Maximum Scholarship by the time I was 17 and I graduated from the Interlochen Arts Academy. When I graduated High School I already had 2 European Orchestra tours under my belt. I was hooked on the idea of international travel, and organizing Chamber Music events held at the US Ambassador’s residence in Vienna, Austria is but one example of this joy shared..

I was connected to the Department of Defense over a course of 9 years where I lived in Cheltenham, England; Geneva, Switzerland; and Vienna, Austria.

I’ve also been a music director and pianist at three places of worship.

At the onset of COVID (School Remote Learning), Mar 2020, I was the Director of Music at St. Joseph’s Catholic School, Bradenton, FL. I was so loved by my students, and so moved by them having to finish the school year remotely, I was inspired to create a Tribute Song, especially focused on my beloved 8th grade class.

a career in massage therapy

It was a natural decision to choose a career in Massage Therapy. I met a man one day on a commuter train heading to DC and he was so happy to be going to work. He was a massage therapist and loved what he did. His conviction and joy inspired me, and I was able to enroll in the class that began the next week, taking its last spot.

I’ve been a licensed massage therapist for over 20 years now.

With joy, currently, my focus is in the unique JULSTRO Method of Osteopathic Muscular Therapy, a highly effective pain relief treatment developed over the course of 30+ years by Julie Donnelly, LMT.

My practice is now open in Sarasota, FL as a muscular therapist using the proven techniques of the JULSTRO method.

I have always enjoyed most the moments in my life when I felt a Spiritual connection. The Holistic direction I follow grew out of a desire to use my Massage License and deepen my skills to be of service to others.

my cherokee heritage

Learning about my Cherokee heritage and discovering my roots has been a rewarding passion of mine. Claiming membership in a federally recognized tribe brings with it reason for pride with knowing our historical relevance. We have all connected with our tribe in our own ways, haven’t we?

fun facts about me

I love to play the piano and compose new material. I love to cook and entertain friends. I love sunsets at the beach, kayaking and swimming. I love raising guide dog puppies.
